Ghana’s 24-Hour Economy Programme Targets Jobs Through Local Poultry Production

An investment agreement signed on 22 October advances a US$270 million poultry transformation programme expected to support up to 12,000 direct jobs and develop integrated domestic poultry production. Its first phase is expected to produce 20,000 tonnes of dressed and processed broiler products each year, creating potential demand for technical training, recruitment and workforce planning; the employment figure is a projected programme outcome rather than a confirmed number of jobs already created, and HPC can support workforce analytics and digital training systems.
