Rheinmetall and MSC Acquire Mangalia Shipyard for €138 Million

On 19 October, German defence group Rheinmetall and Swiss shipping company MSC acquired Romania’s Mangalia shipyard for approximately €138 million. The partners plan to develop the Black Sea facility for civilian and military shipbuilding, with the site expected to support future naval construction and commercial activity.
